Puto Bumbong

Puto Bumbong is a traditional Filipino delicacy made from steamed purple rice cakes, typically served with butter, coconut, and muscovado sugar during Christmas season.

Procedure:

  1. In a bowl, mix the water, glutinous rice flour and ube food coloring. Mix until it forms
    a dough.
  2. Form into a ball and shred using food processor cone nO. 1.
  3. Put the shredded dough on the banana leaves, then roll.
  4. Put water in the turkey roaster and add the rack, then put the puto bumbong.
  5. Set the temperature in medium heat for 25 minutes.
  6. After 25 mins.,put the puto bumbong on the plate, add shredded coconut, cheese and condensed milk on top, then serve.
