Spanish Bread

Spanish Bread is a soft, slightly sweet Filipino pastry filled with a buttery, sugar-cinnamon mixture, then rolled and baked to golden perfection.

Procedure:

  1. Put all the dry ingredients and mix. Then add the wet ingredients and mix it again.
  2. When you reach the right consistency start kneading. Knead for 5 mins or until the dough becomes elastic,
  3. Transfer in a clean bowl, put, cover, rest for about 30 minutes to 1 hour until double in size.
  4. After 1 hour, knead the dough to remove the gas.
  5. Cut into pieces, flatten every pieces of the dough and add the filling. After putting the filling, roll the dough, then roll on the bread crumbs.
  6. Put the bread in the preheated skillet, and set the temperature in 180 for 20mins.
