Tteok-Bokki (Stir-Fried Rice Cake)

Tteok-Bokki is a popular Korean dish made with chewy rice cakes stir-fried in a spicy-sweet gochujang sauce, often paired with fish cakes and vegetables.

Ingredients:

Procedure:

  1. Boiled the 2 cups of water,
  2. In the bowl mix the red pepper paste, seasoned bean paste, soy sauce and sugar.
  3. While boiling pour the paste mixture to the water and add the onion, rice cake and fish cake. Simmer for about 10mins in 180degs
  4. After 10 mins., put the spring onion, cheddar cheese and mozzarella cheese and wait until the cheese melts
  5. In the clean bowl, serve the yummy Tteok-bokki and put spring onion, boiled egg and sesame seed on top.
