Steamed Custard Buns are soft, fluffy buns filled with creamy, sweet custard, steamed to perfection for a delightful dessert or snack.

Ingredients:

Custard Filling:

Procedure:

  1. Put the flour, yeast, sugar, baking powder, pinch of salt in a bowl and mix it. Then add water.
  2. When you reach the right consistency of the dough , start kneading. Knead the dough until become elastic and set aside. Now, wait for 30 mins. to 1 hr. until double in size. After an hour of waiting, punch the middle of the dough to remove the gas
  3. Cut the dough into pieces and put the custard filling
  4. Put the custard buns in the egg cups. Put water in the turkey roaster and cook in medium heat for 20 to 25 mins.
Custard filling:
  1. 1.Mix the egg yolk and sugar. Wait until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Add the milk, flour and butter
  3. Cook in low heat. Continue stirring until become lightly thicken.
