Puto Flan

Puto Flan is a Filipino treat combining fluffy steamed rice cakes (puto) with a creamy caramel custard (flan) topping for a deliciously unique dessert.

Procedure:

For Leche Flan Mixture:

  1. 1.Mix evaporated milk, condensed milk, egg yolk and vanilla in a bowl. Whisk in and sift.
  2. Put the flan mixture 1/3 of molder and steam for 5 mins in medium heat.
    For Puto Mixture:
  3. Mix cake flour, sugar, baking powder, pinch salt, milk powder, Egg white water and melted butter. Mix and sift.
  4. Once the steamed flan is done, let it rest for 1 min. Then put the puto mixture. Steam for 8 mins. in medium heat
