Ingredients:
- 2 kilos Beef
- 5 cloves Minced Garlic
- 1 large Onions
- 1 large Ginger
- 5 Bay Leaves
- 1 tsp. Peppercorn
- 1 cup Soy sauce
- 1/2 cup Oyster Sauce
- 5 Star Anise
- 1 liter Water
- 1/2 cup Cornstarch
- 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
For Garnishing:
- Fried Garlic
- Red Chili
- Onion Spring
- White Onion
- Black pepper
Procedure:
- Defat beef for 30 mins in medium heat.
- Sauté onion garlic and ginger.
- Add defatted beef, bay leaves, peppercorn, star anise, soy sauce, oyster sauce, water, brown sugar and dissolved cornstarch.
- Cook for 20 mins in medium heat.
- Garnish with spring onion, fried garlic, onion, and red chili.
