Ingredients:
For the Crust:
- 11/2 Cups Flour
- 2 tbsp. Sugar
- 1/2 tsp. Salt
- 1/2 Cup Cold Butter
- 1 Egg Yolk
- 3 tbsp. Ice Cold Water
- 2 Tomato
- 6 Green chillies
- 1 1/2 tbsp Sambar powder
- Curry leaves - 1 string
- Coriander leaves - hand full/bowl
- Tamarind Paste ( 1 strand soaked in 3 tbsp water)
- 2 Tbsp Bullion
Ingredients:
For the Filling:
- 1 Can Evaporated Milk
- 5 Whole Eggs
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 11/2 tsp. Vanilla Extract
- 1 Egg White(egg white from the same egg for the crust)
Procedure:
For the Crust:
- Mix the ingredients one by one for the crust. Knead and mix lightly to form a dough.
- After kneading cover with a plastic wrap, then chill for about 30 minutes to 1 hour
- Roll thinly to fit in the electric skillet.
- Place the dough in the
electric skillet.
Procedure:
For the Filling:
- Mix all the wet ingredients, mix it well until the sugar is dissolved.
- Beat 1 egg white to soft peaks.
- Whisk into egg and milk mixture. 4.
- Pour the milk mixture in the crust then cover the skillet.
- Set the temperature in 150 for about 45 minutes.
