Ingredients:
- 1 Kg. Chicken Breast
- 2 Stalks Spring Onions
- 1 Pc. Ginger
- 4 Cloves Garlic
- 7 Chili Peppers
- 1 tsp. Peppercorn
- 1 tsp. White Pepper
- 1/2 Salt
- Corn Starch
- Roasted Peanuts
- 1 tbsp. Dark Soy sauce
Kung Pao Sauce:
- 1 tbsp. Light Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp. Dark Vinegar
- 1 tbsp. Shaoxing Cooking Wine
- 1 tsp. Sugar
- 1 tbsp. Cornstarch
- 1/2 Cup Water
Procedure:
Preparing the Kung Pao Sauce:
- In a bowl, combine chicken with salt, white pepper, corn starch, dark soy sauce and mix well. Marinate in 2 minutes.
- For the kung pao sauce, combine light soy sauce, dark vinegar, cooking wine, sugar, cornstarch, water and roasted peanuts and mix well.
- Sauté garlic, ginger, dried chili, add the marinated chicken and sauté for 2 minutes, add the kung pao sauce and mix it well.
- Garnish with roasted peanuts and spring onion.
