Fruits Tartlets

Fruit Tartlets are bite-sized pastries filled with creamy custard and topped with fresh, colorful fruits.

Ingredients:

Custard

Procedure:

  1. In a bowl, mix the butter and icing sugar. Mix using electric mixer.
  2. Add the egg yolks, flour, salt and vanilla extract and continue mixing.
  3. Put the dough in a baking paper. Flatten and put in the fridge for about 30 to 1 hr.
  4. After 1 hr., put the dough in the skillet and bake for about 30 mins in 150 degrees.
For the Custard
  1. Put the fresh milk in a cookware and simmer.
  2. In a bowl, mix the butter, egg yolks, sugar, salt and cornstarch.
  3. Put the butter mixture in a cookware and mix with fresh milk, continue stirring until it thickens. Then cook in medium heat
  4. Set aside and let it cool
  5. Put the custard in a piping bag and start putting in a cook tart shell.
  6. After putting custard in a tart shell, start putting fruits on top of the custard.
